WELL it didn’t take long for the Community Support Officers and Community Wardens to disappear after the opening of Friars Walk.
By 1.30pm we had the “sing out of tune to an iPad” woman by the Body Shop, and by 4.30pm the “guitar man” was back busking in Westgate Square.
All we need now are the “pan pipe” players and the “tone deaf” violinist to re-emerge, although we still have the beggar and his dogs in Westgate Square to weave around.
