ACCORDING to the Torfaen Council website, Councillor Mike Harris earns £20,707.22 salary per year. Which is £1725.60 per calendar month or £431.4 per week. Take that at 37.5 hours per week and that is £11.50 per hour. 30% (attendance according to council website) of 37.5 hours is 11.25 hours per week worked. Works out he earns £38.34 per hour. And yet he has the nerve to whinge about “scroungers”? How about some value for taxpayers’ money?
