WAS delighted to read in yesterday’s ‘Argus’ of the award received by the staff at the RSPB Wetlands Reserve and Visitor Centre at Nash and Tredegar House, both important sites in the city.
Through your pages may I also remind your readers of another very important site at The Fourteen Locks Visitor Centre at Rogerstone.
The staff and members of the team of volunteers are dedicated in assisting visitors, from all parts of the world, to appreciate the locks, which are now regarded as a wonder of the industrial revolution, and the interesting displays within the centre itself. I feel sure that a visit by your readers will ensure their return to this beautiful part of Newport on many occasions.
