I AM WRITING about the Velothon bike race.
The road was closed from 6.30am to 2.40pm, all that is fine, but when I rang them on four times at the offices they said that the road was open different times from 6.15am to 7.20am, 10.35am to 1.15pm.
I have a shop on Nash Road and the marshals would not allow anyone to come through. The sad thing is that no marshals knew about the opening times for roads.
One of my customers who is 80 years old had to walk about a mile to the shop.
