THE recent democratic voice of the people was a call for justice. Those who disagree with the result show a total disregard for those who fought and died in two world wars for democracy and against nationalism.
The wealth of any nation lies in the hands of the people, now is the time to begin the process of investment for the long term for our children.
The money once sent to the EU can be invested in our country for industry and jobs.
Scrap the idea of giving sixteen year olds the right to vote just to inflate the polling figures, change the voting system to the Australian system of compulsory voting, this will give a true reflection of the wishes of the majority and the nation wishes.
Once we were a great industrial nation, we have allowed our industries to be sold, and closed putting thousands on the scrap heap.
Today is a great opportunity to begin the road to change and for the better.
