WHILE I agree wholeheartedly that Wales achievements at Euro 2016 should be shouted from the rooftops, the sports pages in the South Wales Argus on Friday, July 8, didn’t really do them justice, I feel.
There were four articles covering almost a full two pages, which essentially contained the same content – “there is more to come from squad”, “it’s not the end for this group”, “hoping to build on Euro exploits” and “we’ve only just begun”. It seems that only the names were changed (Bale, Coleman, Ramsey, Giggs), for some variety!
