PLEASE could the area manager of Stagecoach PLC kindly explain why the new golden, leather-clad fleet of buses in service have their heaters full on in summer when the temperature outside is 26C to 30C? This is obviously not very good for passengers unless they enjoy having a free sauna!
I did ask the driver of the X24 today if he could turn off the heating and he said it was not the heating but the actual bus! Perhaps the area manager could clarify the position? Can the heating system be controlled on these new buses or not? It’s not rocket science is it?
