DEAR Argus and its readers who attended the Abergavenny Food Festival.
Can you give some credit for the success of the event, which I am sure made everyone’s day in Abergavenny, to a young lady who was busking opposite Shackletons.
I did not get into Abergavenny till late but as I walked past I stopped at about 5pm to listen to this young lady sing a few songs.
She sounded as good as Katie Melua and from the reaction of the people around, they money being thrown in her case, people were really into her.
Can you put a name to her and give her a well deserved boost to her career?
So all in all the food festival was excellent and this young busker was a sweet treat for everyone.
Come on all you readers who were there let’s get this young lady some well deserved recognition.
Raise some money for her to make an album.
Well done to the food festival and well done to the busker – thanks for making our day.
S Carey
