OCTOBER sees the return of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Tenovus Cancer Care is asking people to go pink and raise money to help breast cancer patients and their families. Every year, around 2,800 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in Wales, which is why we are holding “pink” collections and events and asking local communities to get involved, raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of this devastating disease, and raise vital funds. So whether you fancy hosting a pink themed tea party, wearing pink to work, dying your hair pink or simply bucket collecting for an hour in your local town or supermarket, every bit helps! We’ve got plenty of free resources to help you get started. Community events and fundraisers will help us continue to make a real difference to the lives of breast cancer patients and their families across the country – so get involved!  To find out how to hold a pink event or join in with one of our pink collections give me a call on 02920 768862 or visit our website: tenovuscancercare.org.uk/pink
