THE people of Scotland democratically, a word your Brexit readers like to use, elected Nicola Sturgeon and her SNP party to look after their interests.
Another independence referendum was always on the cards if the British government failed to secure its promise to keep Scotland within the EU.
A promise made to keep Scotland within the UK.
Those Whitehall experts, and Bank of England predicted a doomsday if Scotland left the UK.
Those same people predicted the same will happen if the UK left the EU.
Both Scotland independence and EU referendums were based on lies and fear mongering with Tory MPs at the heart of both campaigns.
The people of the UK didn’t trust their MPs and this Tory government to leave the EU, so why should they trust this Tory government to get the deal they voted for?
Free trade without freedom of movement will never happen, with the UK paying into the EU without a vote.
Or another option would be having tariffs on imported goods to Europe.
This would mean companies who trade with Europe would move to former Eastern European countries for cheaper workers and easy access to the European market.
I would be surprised if the EU gave some kind of financial support to those countries to make them more attractive.
