I HAVE recently read that Caerphilly County Borough Council have voted to spend a further £150,000 to meet legal fees in their dispute with officers of the council.
This is a protracted case and is no doubt costing the community charge payers of the borough a considerable amount of money.
Although the council may be unwilling to comment on the details of the case, I think they should at least disclose to community charge payers how much has been spent on the current case - including the wages paid to the officers - so we can all see how much this regrettable matter is costing residents of the borough.
