CAN I through your letters page offer my sincere thanks to everyone that was involved in the Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan League of Friends Christmas activities, ie. our Christmas raffle, the Christmas Bazaar held at the hospital and the volunteers and staff that escorted Father Christmas around the hospital giving out presents and personal Christmas cards to every patient that was recovering or receiving treatment over the festive period.
A special thank you to the members of the League of Friends for all their volunteering commitment, the staff at the hospital especially the porters for their help, the people that gave so generously gifts and donations that made these events the success that they all were.
All the money raised will be spent at this hospital for the benefit of the patients there from Blaenau Gwent and the surrounding area that will be receiving treatments there now and in the future.
