I ENJOYED your article about couples getting engaged on Newport buses.
My girlfriend and I got engaged on the top deck of a Newport bus in November 1966, and married in May 1967.
I read the article while visiting Newport to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversary.
We now live in Silicon Valley.
