HOW lovely it was to see that Brynteg Nursery School - the nursery that has been earmarked for closure in July 2018 along with Victoria Primary - received their excellence award for their recent outstanding inspection at Estyns recent awards evening.
A huge well done to the staff particularly given how hard they have worked whilst knowing they face closure next year.
It’s just a shame that Torfaen Local Authority have taken so long to recognise this outstanding achievement - maybe Torfaen will have a change of heart?
