IN REPLY to Andrew Nutt’s letter of May 30, does he not consider that the hundreds of thousands of wealthy expats who are living in Spain, Portugal, Greece and the Canary Isles and the million or so of pensioners who are living in care homes, nursing homes and residential homes who are receiving winter fuel allowances needlessly.
Does he not think that these hundreds of millions of pounds could be better used elsewhere?
