LEADING breast cancer charity Breast Cancer Care is holding a free information session in Cardiff to help women move on following treatment for breast cancer.

In partnership with a breast surgeon, Breast Cancer Care’s session will provide information to women about Breast Reconstruction as they come to the end of their treatment for breast cancer. The session will include a presentation from a breast surgeon providing expert information and guidance.

There will be a chance for attendees to ask questions, as well as the invaluable opportunity to meet with others who have been through a similar experience. Breast Cancer Care’s Breast Reconstruction information Session will take place on Tuesday 5 September 2017 from 9.30am to noon at Breast Cancer Care Cymru’s office on Cathedral Road, Cardiff.

Mags Holloway, Services Development Manager at Breast Cancer Care says: Just over 80% of people diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK have surgery. We know that the need for support doesn’t end when treatment finishes. In fact, it is often the time people need us the most.

Our Information Sessions can help you move forward whether you’re managing the ongoing side effects of treatment, thinking of going back to work or trying to improve your wellbeing.

This course is free of charge, but participants must register in advance by calling Breast Cancer Care on 0345 077 1893 or email cym@breastcancercare.org.uk
