REGARDING your offer to have a say on promoting a healthier Wales, while I whole heartedly endorse the plans to combat smoking, alcohol and drug abuse, obesity, I believe there are more immediate issues we should address.
For one, let’s rid ourselves of at least half of the National Assembly members currently leeching our communal funds.
Why are there so many? For two, pull the plug on their self-serving and obsessive drive to force-feed us the dinosaur carcass that is the Welsh language.
All this bilingual nonsense is both costly and frankly pointless.
Just think of the money we could save by these two positive steps and imagine how it could be more usefully spent in promoting a healthier Wales.
