FURTHER to your letter page dated 10/10/17, entry made by Cllrs Farina-Childs and Etheridge, the meeting took place to raise objections to the proposed development of some 300 houses by Persimmon homes on what has always been and remains a Greenfield site at Hoel Y Cefn.
At a time when local doctor surgeries are being closed, schools are stretched to capacity the Blackwood / Pontllanfraith/Oakdale and remainder of Caerphilly area are being developed at an alarming rate with Greenfield sites being targeted when Brownfield sites are available.
