MAY we thank the residents, police and the principal engineer of CCBC who attended two site meetings we called for after receiving two petitions with a substantial amount of names on, to look at concerns raised by residents on Pentwyn Road and Woodbine Road, Blackwood, regarding parking issues?
The outcome of the meetings was as follows.
1.Pentwyn Road residents will be consulted on alterations to the Residents only Parking Bays and the extending of the double yellow lines
2. Woodbine Road residents will be consulted on extending the existing double yellow lines to allow residents who live in Tuckers Villas safe access and egress from their properties.
We would also like to give assurances to the many residents of other areas of Blackwood that we will continue to support the residents and do our very best to try and resolve the parking issues in and around Blackwood that have been brought to our attention.
