REGARDING the letter this week expressing disappointment at the lack of national and international news coverage in the Argus, I must disagree.
The Argus is a local newspaper and I don’t believe it suffers by not rehashing the stories easily accessible in the national press.
I for one do not miss the inevitable celebrity picture and associated story.
Why not buy the Argus and pick up a free Metro for your national news? Or even watch TV. Local news in the local press every time.
