REMEMBER the 1980s when the Iron Lady was on the TV, Wales was a poor country. Wales elected mostly Labour MPs and every council was controlled by Labour. Fast forward to today, we have a Tory government in London and Labour controlling local councils again and elected Labour MPs. Now we have a Welsh government in Cardiff which also has Labour in charge.
After 10 years of a Labour government in London Wales is now the poorest country in Western Europe.
Labour of yesteryear is no different from the Tories of today.
There is an old saying: “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” So when the cuts start hurting, Labour will blame the Tories and not take a single bit of responsibility for their actions.
