I NOTE that the Labour party has secured a number of seats in the local elections in Newport this week. I trust and hope that they will be a little more honest and open with regard to their management of Newport affairs.
In this comment I refer to the leaflets that were distributed onto my home on Wednesday evening at 5.30pm informing me that they had called but I was not at home. They did not call and find me not at home, they sneaked up to my front door pushed the leaflet into my letter box and departed as speedily as possible. Lies on the leaflet – what can we expect from their councillors.
