I AM unaware of what is the cause of Paul Neilson’s seemingly angry letter.

May I make two observations? If Mr Neilson was to state what he means by the term ‘creation myth’ and I was to state what I understood by the Genesis account of creation and what follows, the results might be informative and interesting.

His statement that “human beings are an evolving species”

is yet another just so story.

It lacks the vital requirement of proof. The scientists I know and the scientists that I have read, reject evolution on that basis alone.

His unworthy comment that we still cling to the comforting (and childish) view of god carries no weight with people of intelligence and conviction.

If we are going to use terms such as sinister, it might be construed as being sinister to consider the universe as being, “self-creating, self-sustaining, and self-destroying”

(Alfred Einstein).
