IT’S true to say, we don’t really appreciate our utility services until something goes wrong. So I should like to express my gratitude to Wales and West Utilities, for the tremendous job they did in restoring the gas supply to our area after water had entered the gas main. I was greatly impressed by the genuine concern shown for all who were inconvenienced.
A special mention for the excavating gang – or the ‘dirty boys’ as they are known in the trade – who worked tirelessly on a busy junction, snatching a well-earned supper of sausage and chips when they could!
Thank you chaps – ‘dirty’ ones and ‘clean’ – for a job well done.
