I REMEMBER when Labour was in government in London, Cardiff and local council. During that time Wales stayed at a highest level of poverty and unemployment in the UK. Wales is still struggling to come to terms with the pit closures of the 80s and failing to reap the benefits from objective one funding.
Now the Tories are in power in London and history has shown that Wales won’t get any improvements from them. Labour again hold the largest share of power in Wales and I can’t see any big improvement to Welsh way of life. Just like North Korea, a one-party state is no good for democracy within a country.
