THE ONGOING situation of the entertainment licence of The G.W.R.S.A. Club in Griffithstown: currently under threat of removal by the licensing authority of T.C.B.C. In my considered opinion, it was most inappropriate for such precedence to have been given to what I believe to have been a questionable grievance of one individual and so little afforded to the due rights of the numerous good citizens who have used the facilities of this establishment in a duly respectful and responsible manner for a great many years, without adverse incident, and now find themselves threatened with the unjustifiable loss of a much-valued social resource.

It is impossible to avoid believing such a decision to have been socially unrepresentative, disproportionate, dismissive of the principles of majority rule and the greater good, and inherently disrespectful to the electorate of the districts served by this institution.
