Standard snub is disgusting

READING letters regarding Wales not being on the Union Flag, what I think is more disgusting than that is that Wales is not represented on the Royal standard.
It is made up of the lions of England top left and bottom right, the flag of Scotland top right, and the harp of Ireland bottom left. The red behind the lions of England is supposed to represent Wales, I could make a comment on that but it wouldn’t get printed.

Okay, as it hankers you so, I thought it only right that I do what i can to help out. After a bit of research, I have found that the reason Wales is not represented is because its special position as a Principality was recognised by the creation of the Prince of Wales long before the incorporation of the quarterings for Scotland and Ireland in the Royal Arms.
Not sure if that helps (doesn't really scan well for me if i'm honest), but I did my best...
