MAY the Welsh Rugby Union stand by its own beliefs and withdraw all our regional sides from European rugby on the ground that “they are not good enough” for the competition?

It is by this criteria that they wish for Pontypool RFC to leave Premiership rugby stating that their past record in the league is “not good enough”. Well, judging by our regional sides’ record in Europe and using WRU justice and also the fact that the more successful French and English sides want more representation in Europe because they are “good enough”, then I hope the WRU does the honourable thing: stand by its own beliefs and principles and make way for the better sides in which they strongly believe.

Or, is it one law for one and one law for another?
