RUTH Mansfield’s pages and the photos, “Pink Thousands Run for Life and Love” (June 25) are delightful.
As a male chauvinist I never could help noticing how Wales has got more than its fair share of good looking women and, no, I’m not being flippant. I, too, have cancer but mine hasn’t reached the stage of being unbearably painful yet and, if I’m lucky, it may never do so. Despite arterial blockage problems and TIAs (mini strokes), I consider myself a very lucky man since I eat when I’m hungry and drink when I’m dry and if the whisky don’t get me, I’ll live till I die!
