As an ex-serviceman, I also express my total disgust at the disbandment of 2nd Battalion Royal Welsh.
From heroes to zeroes would appear to be the multi- millionaire minister of defence Philip Hammond’s attitude to these brave men.
Hammond and the 17 other millionaire cabinet members couldn’t care less about you.
But some of us do, your comrades in arms, your families and the public. So do your predecessors in wars from South Africa to South Armagh. We salute you.
