All change on Newport bus passports

First published in Letters

LOTS of your readers who use buses in Newport will already know that Newport Bus has recently introduced a new type of smartcard to use on our buses: the Passport Plus card. The card is yellow and gives users access to our entire network of services.

We still operate our green Passport cards for those who want unlimited travel in Newport, but from July 28 we will only be accepting the yellow Passport Plus card for those that want to travel outside the city with a smartcard, ie, to Cardiff or Cwmbran.

Those that have a green card and want to upgrade to the yellow Passport Plus card can do so free of charge at our Travel Centre at Newport Bus Station. For further information, contact the centre on 01633 263600.
