IT BEGGARS belief that with just two weeks before the start of the Olympic Games G4S, the company paid almost £248 million to manage security for London 2012, is unable to fulfil its contract due to a manpower shortage and has to rely on our armed forces to make up the shortfall.
The Queens Dragoon Guards who recently returned from a sevenmonth tour of frontline duties in Afghanistan will now be amongst those asked to shoulder the burden for security at London 2012.
