I WONDER how many disabled people living in and around Blackwood are happy with the way Caerphilly Council has allocated the disabled parking bays in the town. You have four on Woodbine Hill, and I mean ‘hill’. There is not one bay for the disabled on the High Street, but I see the council has put two parking places for taxis.

I think the person who thought up the plan for the disabled parking in Blackwood needs to go back to the drawing board and start again and, for people who can’t walk a great distance, even the car park behind the High Street is a nightmare and why is this the only council around to charge for disabled parking?

Come on, Caerphilly Council, get your act together and sort something out or if you can’t do it, get someone in who can.
