Green jobs the way forward

First published in Letters

MORE than 41,500 people in Wales work in what are classed as low-carbon or environmental jobs, including nuclear power, wind energy, pollution control and recycling.

That is more than the motor trade or financial services. There would be a lot more jobs if the various incinerator plans were agreed, and between all those projects, there would be more electricity produced than the Severn Barrage. This would also mean less of our rubbish being transported to China.
