The District league achieved a full programme for the first time since November 7, but only just. Changing facilities at Southfields, Cwmbran, were unavailable with the result that teams were changing in the car park. How long Southfields will be out of action is open to question. We all know that Northfields hasn’t had any changing facilities for the last three seasons. This situation leaves Cwmbran footballers in dire straits.

SINCE the last report in the middle of December, 199 games have been postponed due to the bad weather. This week all games on Cwmbran pitches were called off, leaving twenty-five matches on Newport and Caerphilly pitches.
