WOKING FC have confirmed on their website that tonight's game against Newport County (KO 7.45) will go ahead despite the recent snow.
A statement by the club reads: "After a great deal of hard work this morning from our fans and ground staff, the pitch is very nearly clear of snow and tonight’s game is scheduled to go ahead without the need for a pitch inspection.
"The board and everyone connected with Woking Football Club would like to thank all our wonderful fans who turned up today to remove the snow from the pitch so that tonight’s game against Newport County can be played."
