NEWPORT County came back from 3-1 down with 89 minutes gone to draw 3-3 at Yate Town and rescue their FA Cup dream.

The Exiles looked more than odds on to be the victims of the biggest giant killing of the fourth qualifying round after goals from Tom Knighton, Mitchell Page and Matt Groves completely transformed the contest after half time.

County were entirely dominant in the first half and missed chance after chance after Jefferson Louis gave them a sixth minute lead.

It appeared to be all over as Newport struggled to get back into things but Aaron O'Connor gave them hope on 89 minutes before Tony James rose to head home four minutes into added on time.

The replay will be this Tuesday, October 23, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The draw for the first round proper is tomorrow, Sunday, October 21 at 1.30pm.
