Connor, who attends Rougemont School in Newport, was the inspirational mascot for Newports first encounter in the new British Irish Cup Competition. First, Connor met up with favourite player Sam Waldron for the traditional photo opportunity. Hat wearing was the order of the day as can be seen in the picture.
