Pill U13 Visit Rodney Parade

Last season FoNR sponsored playing kit for Pill U12. We were pleased therefore to host them, now as U13, at Rodney Parade for the match between Newport and Swansea.

Our junior coach, Joe Crocker, was joined by Newport' Adam Davies for a pre match skills session before the Pill players were subject to the now traditional bench photo. They then formed the Guard of Honour for the teams as they took to the famous Rodney Parade turf.

FoNR have provided further support to Pill this season with the provision of tackle equipment and training ball. Whilst this was specifically aimed at the youth team, it should be noted that Pill are running several age grade sides which is encouraging for rugby on the west side of the Usk. The Trust would like to commend the coaches and administrators at Pill Harriers for the work they are doing.
